A charming cosy game previously only available to console gamers on Xbox is set to arrive on Nintendo's Switch systems before Christmas. RPG/factory automation hybrid Little Rocket Lab has only been out for a short time but will head to the Switch and Switch 2 next month.
It ends its brief period of Xbox console exclusivity just in time for the festive season. The game, which only launched on digital store shelves in early October, quickly won over fans. It spins the tale of a young engineer named Morgan, who embarks on a mission to construct a rocket ship while simultaneously restoring her childhood home into a functioning factory.

Like all ventures, Morgan begins small, gradually building up through exploration, resource gathering, and meticulous planning of each step. Alongside constructing a factory, Morgan will also foster close relationships with a small village populated by NPCs, whom she can befriend and assist, reports All Out Gaming.
The game has gripped its playerbase, with many on Reddit admitting to being hooked. One Reddit user said they "pulled an all-nighter" on the game's demo.
They added: "Just a warning to people like me who absolutely cannot be trusted around factory games: this one has the SAUCE.

"The combo of 'restore/clean up the town + factory building' is too powerful of a combination for my feeble soul. It's so addicting."
This sentiment was echoed by another player who simply wrote: "I'm addicted, too. Help!"
The game’s style also drew high praise, with a third user saying: "This looks adorable! Love Morgans designs and her interactions with the populace."

The game's developer, Teenage Astronauts, has announced that the game will be available on Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 from December 10.
Publisher No More Robots has not yet clarified why Little Rocket Lab did not launch on the platform alongside Xbox and PC, but hopefully the extra time will ensure there are no annoying bugs or performance issues.
