Loatinover Pounds has officially released the visuals for his latest single Mamazala, a collaboration with 25K that continues to cement his reputation as one of Pitori’s most authentic voices.
Written by Loatile Mangadi and Lehlohonolo Molefe, Mamazala is performed by Loatinover Pounds alongside 25K, with production credits going to Loatinover Pounds himself. The track is a standout offering that blends street wisdom with raw emotion, delivered in the style that has made him a household name.
The Mamazala video is a film by BSV, with creative direction and styling handled by Sufi. Shot with precision by Director of Photography Ashton Bepete, the production comes courtesy of True Tales Agency, capturing the grit and beauty of the streets that shaped Loatinover Pounds’ story.
The video stars Ontshiametsi Moleka, Zanokuhle, and Kagiso Kgogome, with lighting by Karabo Kuaho. True to Loatinover Pounds’ ethos, the visuals elevate the narrative, painting a raw yet stylish portrait of life, love, and loyalty.
The release of Mamazala comes on a significant date. On 20 September 2025, Loatinover Pounds reflected on the journey since his breakout album Pray 4 Pitori, which dropped exactly a year prior.
In his heartfelt message to fans, he wrote:
“When I created this album, it was more than just music – it was my love letter to the streets that raised me, to the people who believed in me, and to the city that shaped my story… You turned Pray 4 Pitori into something bigger than me.”
That project became an anthem in the hoods and reached millions worldwide, proving that his story resonates far beyond Pretoria.
With Mamazala, Loatinover Pounds and 25K remind listeners why they remain pillars of the new wave in South African hip hop. Backed by the energy of Punyete Premier League, this release is not just a music video – it’s a statement of intent.
As Loatinover Pounds promised, this is only the beginning. If Pray 4 Pitori was his love letter to the streets, Mamazala is the continuation of that dialogue – real music from a real place.
